Let’s dive in and take a closer look at what it’s like to be an architectural interior designer and how my skills and expertise can benefit your project. I just started a new design project for the infamous family owned Mexican restaurant El Compadre in Los Angeles California.

As an architectural interior designer, my day-to-day work involves much more than just picking out furniture and accessories. In fact, it’s a complex and multifaceted process that requires a combination of creativity, technical knowledge, and project management skills.

Here’s a glimpse into a typical day in my life as an architectural interior designer:

– Collaborating with Clients: The first step in any design project is to meet with the client and discuss their needs, preferences, and goals. This involves asking questions, listening carefully, and gathering as much information as possible to ensure that I fully understand their vision.

– Researching and Planning: Once I have a clear understanding of the client’s needs, I begin to research and plan the project. This involves creating sketches, drafting plans, and selecting materials and finishes that meet the client’s preferences and budget.

– Managing the Project: Throughout the design process, I act as a project manager, overseeing contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure that everything runs smoothly and on schedule.

– Staying Up-to-Date: To stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and innovations, I attend industry events, read design publications, and participate in continuing education courses.

– Bringing the Design to Life: Once the planning is complete, it’s time to bring the design to life. This involves coordinating with contractors and other professionals to ensure that everything is installed and finished to the client’s specifications.

The Unique Skills and Expertise I Bring to Your Project

As an architectural interior designer with over 25 years of experience, I bring a unique set of skills and expertise to your project. Here are just a few of the ways I can benefit your project:

– Creativity: With years of experience in the industry, I have developed a keen eye for design and a deep understanding of how to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

– Technical Knowledge: From space planning to material selection, I have the technical knowledge to ensure that your project is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

– Project Management: As a seasoned project manager, I have the skills to keep your project on track and on budget, while also ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved throughout the process.

– Attention to Detail: I know that it’s the small details that can make all the difference in a design project. That’s why I pay close attention to every aspect of the project, from the placement of furniture to the selection of lighting fixtures.
